“Retired Guys and Girls”

 

“Iris” – Ch. StoneBull’s Eyes In The Nite, CGC

Iris is Scout’s mom and she went to live with Vince Grlovich and Lindy Whyte of Tryumphe Bullmastiffs, in Washington, PA at eight weeks old.  Vince handled her to her championship.  She was bred once and she became one of the foundation dogs for their kennel and was a much loved member of their family.  Iris was sired by Am/Can Ch. Sherwood So Irresista-Bull and is out of Ch. Greystone’s Molly Mae, CGC and passed away in 2007.

 

“Molly” – Ch. Greystone’s Molly Mae, CGC

Molly is Iris’ mom and came to us in 1998, as an adult re-home when her father’s owner could no longer keep her.  Molly was one of the sweetest bullmastiffs we’ve ever had the pleasure to have known and had a special affinity for small children.  She was bred twice and eventually went to live with Jim and Tammi and their two children where she lived out her heart’s desire to be a much loved family member and children’s playmate.  Molly was sired by Ch. StoneBull’s Night Moves is out of Samantha Dune and passed away in 2004.

 

“Oliver” – Ch. StoneBull’s Night Moves

Oliver is Molly’s dad and went to live with David Gomes of AppleHill Bullmastiffs at five months old.  David handled him to his championship and they earned many Group placements together.  Oliver loved everyone, dogs and humans, especially children, but David was the absolute love of his life.  Oliver was bred once and passed away in 1996.  He was sired by Ch. Sherwood Berry Impressive and is out of Ch. Buckshorn Red Sky At Night, CGC, CD.

 

“Sky” – Ch. Buckshorn Red Sky At Night, CGC, CD

Sky is Oliver’s mom and the foundation bitch for our kennel and most importantly, was Jackie’s best friend.  She breezed through her championship and was Jackie’s first venture into the world of obedience competition. She was a gorgeous bitch and never took a picture that did her justice to her beautiful face and expression.  Sky was sired by Ch. Blackslate’s Boston Brahmin and is out of Ch. Buckshorn Gale Force Winds.  She passed away in 1997 and will never be forgotten, never be matched and she is very much missed to this day.  She was the best!

 

 “Aisha” – Am/Can Ch. Aisha’s Night of StoneBull, CGC

Aisha is Rhea’s mom and she went to live with Ed and Kathy Laraway of Dredger Bullmastiffs, Northfield, MA at eight weeks old.  Ed handled her to both her American and Canadian championships.  She was bred once and became the foundation bitch for their kennel.  She was a much loved member of their family and Ed’s best friend.  Aisha was sired by Ch. Gailwin’s Mythical Minotaur, CGC and is out of Ch. StoneBull’s Night Sky, CGC and passed away in 2005.

 

 “Echo” – Ch. StoneBull’s Night Sky, CGC, CD

Echo is Aisha’s mom and a litter brother to Oliver.  We had originally kept both Echo and Oliver to grow out and Oliver was subsequently sold to David Gomes of AppleHill Bullmastiffs when he was five month old.  Echo looked for him for days after he left and was beside herself with joy when she got to see him at a dog show.  She was Jackie’s third obedience dog.  Echo was sired by Ch. Sherwood Berry Impressive and is out of Ch. Buckshorn Red Sky at Night, CGC, CD.  Echo passed away in 1999.

 

“Tyler” – Am/Can Ch. StoneBull’s Midnight Hero

Tyler is a litter brother to Echo and Oliver and went to live with Mike and Sheldon when he was eight weeks old.  He grew up with cats, his best friend a pot bellied pig and a Bishon Frise.  He flew through is American and Canadian championships and then went back to his home to live out his life as a treasured family pet. Tyler was sired by Ch. Sherwood Berry Impressive and is out of Ch. Buckshorn Red Sky at Night, CGC, CD.  Tyler passed away in 2001.

 

 “Stalker” – Ch. StoneBull’s Night Stalker NIX

Stalker is Roo’s dad and he went to live with Rick Blanchard of NIX Bullmastiffs, in Pascoag, RI at eight weeks old.  Rick handled him to his championship and they earned many Group placements together.  Stalker became the foundation stud for Rick’s kennel and has produced multiple champion and obedience titled offspring.  Stalker was sired by Sherwood Tucker of Nightyde and is out of Ch. Buckshorn Red Sky at Night, CGC, CD and passed away in 2004.

 

“Julius” – Ch. StoneBull’s Julius Nitestar

Julius is a litter brother to Stalker and went to live with Gary and Brenda when he was eight weeks old.  He finished his championship with ease, with his owner Gary, on the other end of the leash and they made a GREAT team together!  Julius was sired by Sherwood Tucker of Nightyde and is out of Ch. Buckshorn Red Sky at Night, CGC, CD and passed away in 2003.

 

“Brus” – Ch. StoneBull’s Nite O’ Rob DeBrus

Brus is a litter brother to Stalker and Julius and went to live with Jean and Robert when he was eight weeks old.  He finished his championship with ease and earned many group placement and was mainly shown by Lisa Heffner of Dur-Anya Bullmastiffs. Brus was sired by Sherwood Tucker of Nightyde and is out of Ch. Buckshorn Red Sky at Night, CGC, CD and passed away in 2004.

 

“Aria” – Dur-Anya’s Nite Aria StoneBull, UD

Aria is a litter brother to Stalker, Julius and Brus and went to live with Lisa and Doug Heffner of Dur-Anya Bullmastiffs at eight weeks old.  She was a true working dog, and is one of only a handful of bullmastiffs with a UD title.  Aria went on to become the foundation bitch for Lisa’s kennel and has produced multiple champion,  obedience and tracking titled offspring.  Aria was sired by Sherwood Tucker of Nightyde and is out of Ch. Buckshorn Red Sky at Night, CGC, CD and passed away in 2002.

 

“Sire” – StoneBull’s Forever Night

Sire is Neala’s dad and he went to live with Frances McEvoy of Bulla Bullmastiffs, in Ontario, Canada at eight weeks old.  He was bred once to Can. Ch. Jeikridge’s Fawn Wishes and Neala was the pick bitch from that breeding.  Sire made an important pedigree contribution to Frances’ breeding program and was being prepared to make his entry in the show ring, when his life was cut short by an accident.  Sire was sired by Ch. Banstock’s Sir Killian Red and is out of C-ATCH Dredger’s No Stone Unturned, CGC, TDI, OAP, NJP and passed away in 2008.
